3 Good enough for the price
Posted by Unknown on 13th Jun 2022
I am using this for a staysail on a Spencer 46. The quality is average. I will have to reinforce some area to make it more durable as well as add some anti-chafe. The costs outweigh this as materials and time would have been more. The customer service representative could have been better. It will work for my current needs and will be used as a template later.

5 Well crafted

I wad excited to receive my new headsail bag prior to getting underway for a 330 mile trip. At the end of a 16 hour day it was nice to tuck the stays'l away, all ready for off going. No need for a furler just a simple solution. Zipper is very robust and material i looks like it will last a good long while. Looking forward to adding a sail pack to her wardrobe next... /r Howard Hillman Pt Sanilac Michigan USA

5 My Second Bag from Lee Sail Covers
Posted by Shawn on 5th May 2022
I purchased a jib bag for my headsail in March and liked it so much I purchased a second slightly smaller jib bag for my staysl. These bags cover my sail very well, look great and seem durable. I'm as happy with the second bag as I am with the first!

I am so pleasantly surprised at the quality of material and workmanship of my new jib bag. All at an incredible price and delivered on time. Shocking to see when everything else seems to take months to receive these days!

4 Nice, good value jib bag
Posted by Shawn on 22nd Mar 2022
The design, work quality, delivery speed and price of the bag are very good. Im very happy with the shape and look of the bag and it solves my problem. The optional lifetime thread is a bonus. Using Sunbrella material for construction would also be a nice option because WeatherMax feels more like plastic than a marine canvas but the material does look nice. Only improvement I'd suggest is for a more robust attachment for the lifting ring on the back of the bag. Overall, I'm very happy and recommend the bag.

Was very pleased with the communication. The sail bag was really well made and immediately put to use. I've only had it a couple of weeks but very happy with the quality. #goodsloopharmony

This headsail bag is well made, and an excellent value for the price. Delivery was quick, even though I understand the labor shortage. I'm very satisfied with it.

5 Quality Construction
Posted by GRC on 30th Sep 2021
I recently purchased two of the Lee Sail Covers medium sized hank-on sail bag covers for the two head sails on my Venture Newport 23. I chose the UV Resistant Solar Fix PTFE threat, hoping for longevity on the stitching. I have yet to use the sail bag covers on the boat as I am awaiting new sails. Overall, the fabric and stitching appears to be top-notch. I am further encouraged by a rather heavy duty zipper that looks like it could easily be operated under a variety of weather and water conditions. These bags will likely be a little large for the size of my sails, but I knew that going in and anticipated that my new sails will likely be a little stiffer than the 47 year old original sails that we have been using. I look forward to trying the bags out on the water soon and will provide an update if I can. Finally, I would add that customer service from Lee Sail Covers was excellent. I emailed a request, Lee Sail Covers responded promptly, and went out of their way to accommodate my request. All in all, I would have no hesitation to do business with them again.
