    Bright red main sail cover

Posted by Marilyn Brassard on 15th Jul 2016

Beautiful red cover. Quality workmanship, great fit and quick shipping to Canada. Price including the shipping for head sail bag and main sail cover still reasonable considering the quality materials used. The zipper and quick release snaps are perfect and easy to use. The staff are very helpful with any questions you may have.

Looks, quality and value - HIGH MARKS!!

Posted by Rodney - Mystic, CT on 6th Jul 2016

Lee Sail Covers absolutely delivered...timely (as promised/scheduled), as ordered, looks terrific and goes on with ease. The mast wrap design above the zipper is great as well. I discovered Lee through Google and I've happily told several fellow sailors at the club about this company--I hope they do what I did. I have confidence that the stainless twistlocks will maintain integrity (would be a bummer to stain the new main!). Got it on the boat this past weekend (lots of yard delays this year unfortunately, so really late launch). Thank you again to the team at Lee!

    Excellent sail cover and service

Posted by Zane Russell on 22nd Jun 2016

I couldn't be happier with our new sail cover. I was contacted by Becky regarding some dimension data I submitted and with a couple changes, our sail cover was fabricated and delivered in four business days. The fit is amazing and a couple custom touches we needed were done perfectly. Love this sail cover !!

    Great Value

Posted by Phil on 17th Jun 2016

I found my mainsail cover in the clearance section at a great discount. It arrived quickly and looks great. At first I thought the package was too small to be a 12 foot cover but I was surprised how lighter the fabric was compared to my old cover. There are plenty of straps and velcro to secure the cover to the boom and mast. It looks great... now I need a new dodger.

    Great Value

Posted by FL Gulf Coast on 8th Jun 2016

The mainsail cover is of high quality and fit perfectly following my submitted measurements. Turn around time was fast as promised. I received my product at the door within a week. Great service. Cost including expedited shipping with twist lock fasteners and high grade thread beat local prices by a good margin. No complaints here, I would definitely recommend this product and Lee Sail Covers.

    Mainsail Cover Review from Kansas

Posted by Unknown on 26th May 2016

Okay, I was a little concerned about buying a mainsail cover from a manufacturer from Ohio, but it wasn't long before a short discussion between Becky and me and I began to gain confidence. After specifying the necessary dimensions, she told me my cover would probably be completed in a week. That is impressive. More importantly, she delivered on her promise. Many in my sailing club have had an opportunity to see the sail cover and all are impressed. Great job. Thanks Becky for great customer support. (By the way, after 30 years in Customer Support, I know "okay" from "great".)

Fits as though it was measured on the boat!

Posted by Ken Pole, Ottawa, Canada on 26th Apr 2016

From my on-line order through shipping and then delivery two weeks later, the entire process was flawless. The stitching is perfect and I look forward to getting many years of service from the cover.

    Reasonable product, incredible turnaround

Posted by Bob on 26th Apr 2016

I ordered a custom mainsail cover with slots for lazyjacks to fit my very non-standard, nearly 50-year-old boat. The measurement process was very simple and well-explained, and I got back a cover that was a perfect fit in less than a week. This was far better response time than any other sail/canvas shop offered. As some of the other reviews may have mentioned, Sunbrella is the gold standard material for marine canvas. The WeatherMax used by Lee is different, with a somewhat harder feel. It looks very good, sheds water well, and the available materials evaluating it (which you can get to from the "Product Description" page) seem very promising. I would've preferred a more direct comparison to Sunbrella in those materials, and only time will tell if WeatherMax holds up as well as promised. However, all the signs were good enough that I was more than willing to go ahead with the purchase. And, as I said, right now it looks great. The only consideration that keeps this from being a five-star review is the stitching. A five-star sewing job would be double-stitched, with the cut edges of the fabric folded over to reduce the likelihood of loose threads pulling out. This was single-stitched very well, but only single-stitched, with the cut fabric edges free. The strongest way to attach webbing is to stitch a square with an "X" inside connecting the four corners. The webbing for the clips on mine is stitched via a single perpendicular line across it. I'm expecting to have to reinforce all the stitching myself sooner than I otherwise would have to. Despite that concern, my overall sense is that I've gotten a great-fitting, good-looking, reasonably-priced sailcover much faster than I could've from anywhere else.
