Product Overview

Developed to fill the need for a fabric that will retain its color and strength in severe outdoor exposure yet still provide a beautiful, rich appearance that today's fabricator expects. Weathermax solves the sagging, wetting, extreme heat problems associated with acrylics and polyester fabric wtih an acrylic coating. Made of SaturaMax  a unique family of solution dyed yarns, Weathermax offers superior color consistency, excellent light fast characteristics and is bleach cleanable. The extremely water repellent HydroMax finish gives WeatherMax its ability to protect against heavy rain while retaining breathability and dimensional stability. An anti-microbial component is added to the finish to prevent mildew growth on the fabric. Weatherman 80 Pacific Blue

Posted by Dale Albrecht on 25th Sep 2024

I bought the material to make hatch covers for my boat. I needed it to match the mainsail cover Lee Sail Covers made for me last year. We used a DIY video created by Sailrite.

    Great stuff!

I always get my Weathermax from LSC after discovering their website a few years ago. I find it is easy to work with on my old Singer. After looking at projects I did several years ago on my friends boats, it’s amazing how well it stands up to the weather. I appreciate the great service and fast delivery. That’s why I keep coming back again and again. Thanks!

    Good People

Posted by Roy Farrant on 20th Nov 2018

I recently ordered a length of Weathermax 80 to make a binnacle cover for my 30' sailboat. I bought the material because it matched the sail cover that I purchased from Lee last summer. The people at Lee were wonderful to deal with and they produced may sail cover in a amazing short amount of time. These are good people who make excellent products at very reasonable prices. A rarity these days.

    Weathermax 80 material

Posted by Craig Shaffer on 25th Aug 2018

The weathermax 80 material is lightweight and the color is perfect. I plan a project to make a bimini for our Catalina 30. Delivery was quick and the fabric comes in 60 inch width at an affordable price. Can't wait to work with it.

    Many uses

I've ordered this product before. I've used it for many applications including marine, RV, motorcycle and covers of many kinds. It's a great product, holds up well in continuous sun, retains it's color, and very durable. Just ordered more because I ran low on original order. Lee sails let me change my order once it was placed by simply emailing them and asking to increase my order and receive it in one cut. Very pleased!
